Hello, my name is Avis! I was born around January 21, 2014, and I'm a charming white and black domestic short-haired male cat. I'm known for my sociable and affectionate nature--I truly enjoy being around people! My big eyes focus on your next moves only because I'm always seeking attention. I am happiest when I'm right in the midst of things, whether it's getting head and body rubs or just cuddling up close. I'm all about the affection; brushing is one of my favorite activities, and I purr contentedly while leaning into every pet. You'll often find me rubbing against your legs, and I'm always up for being picked up for a good snuggle. I like my food and enjoy some play. Keeping some toys around and playing with me regularly will keep me fit. I prefer non-clumping cat litter, and please, no pellets. This keeps me comfortable and happy in my daily routine. I have been around other cats and seem to be at ease with them, but really my preference is with my people. If you have other pets, please follow Wild Blue's instructions for introducing us slowly so the transition with be a happy one. Being the social cat that I am, I would probably do well with older kids as long as they give me my space when I am in a quiet mood.
